There will be a quiz on all of Chapter 3 - Be sure to understand Using evidence and outlining.

Finish any activities on Pgs. 56-58 That we didn't finish in class.
There are a series of articles on Pages 192-207
Read 3 of these articles
Choose 1 and write a 1 page reaction; remember a reaction includes the name of the article, author, and the aspect of the article you are reacting to.

Also, come to the Library instruction room (Back of the library) at 12:30 PROMPTLY.
Come with a specific  area of interest  about our research topic.  (Human relationship to Technology)

Homework - Thursday, Oct. 15

Bring Essay 2 to class  on a flashdrive or e-mail it to yourself.

This essay (How changes can be made in society) should be fully written according to the guidelines I handed out last week.


We will work on formatting (YOUR ALREADY WRITTEN ESSAY)  in class and the class will meet in the computer lab.

Read Eve's Daughter  Pg. 161
Read Agents of Change and Nonviolent Action Pg. 165

Now Re-read one of these with Focused Reading Techniques.
Highlighting and note taking with the following question in mind:

How Can People Make Changes in Society? Describe Several Ways to change society in lasting, constructive Ways.
I will check your notes.

Also, Re-write due for Personal Narrative

E-mail me if you have any questions about these assignments.  It's better than Procrastinating.
