Read this first for overall understanding and look up any words that will help you understand the article.
Read it again and highlight main ideas ( Follow strategies on Pg. 23)
Make a Summary Grid  and then write a 1 page summary.
I will collect both of these.

Read "Extreme Do Gooders- What Makes Them Tick?" Page 163
Write a 1 page response, using discussed strategies for responses and formatting according to the guide I handed out in class.
This is in addition to your personal narrative also due.

Continue to work on your personal narrative. Even though this is a first draft, IT MUST BE WORD PROCESSED AND IN CORRECT FORMAT. It is due Thursday Sept. 24 and needs to be between 3-4 pages.

and Come up with a specific idea.  Make a graphic organizer (Pg. 215) An example of a specific idea would be: "The time I was arrested because of mistaken identity"Put all of this on a separate piece of paper so I can collect it.
